And our highly-trained, board certified physicians are on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, one of the country’s leading medical schools, who work collaboratively to treat all conditions affecting the eyes—offering services from comprehensive eye care to specialized treatments for adults and children.

For patients with rare or complex eye diseases, who require advanced surgical intervention, procedures will be performed at NYEE’s main hospital campus.

The best way to monitor your eye health is with an annual eye checkup. Routine eye exams are important for detecting various eye conditions. The sooner an eye condition is detected, the faster it is to treat and the easier it is to manage. At our Union Square office, our experienced eye specialists are skilled in a wide range of areas, including:

Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technology to help us diagnose and treat our patients. We have a new visual field testing site for the diagnosis and monitoring of eye conditions affecting the optic nerve, including glaucoma. Our advanced office also includes a brand new OCT imaging for screening retinal and optic nerve pathologies. We also have imaging capability for measuring certain corneal pathologies such as keratoconus. For additional complex issues, we are able to provide referrals and coordinate care with other eye specialists at NYEE.  

It is vital that children receive annual eye testing to make sure their eyes are developing properly. Our physicians have extensive, specialized care in examining and treating eye conditions in children and adolescents. If a primary care physician for additional eye care has referred your child or if your child is displaying any symptoms of an eye condition, we can help.
