The benchmark standard for screening most sleep disorders is the nocturnal sleep study. Studies start at 9AM and end at 6AM. The study begins with electrode application and our trained technicians monitor the patient throughout the night.
CPAP Titration Study
Similar to the standard sleep study, the CPAP titration study starts at 9AM and ends at 6AM, and involves electrode application and continuous monitoring. Our trained therapists slowly adjust CPAP pressure until patient has normal airflow.
MSLT (Fatigue Study)
The MSLT or Multiple Sleep Latency Test involves 4 or 5 naps each separated by 1.5 hours of wakefulness. The MSLT is the benchmark standard for screening for narcolepsy.
