Video Atlas of Ophthalmic Ultrasound Created at NYEE

Dynamic Ophthalmic Ultrasonography: a Video Atlas for Ophthalmologists and Imaging TechniciansNEW YORK, NY (October 2009) -- Based on material from the Advanced Retinal Imaging Lab of the NYEE, Dr. Julian Pancho S. Garcia, Jr., associate professor of ophthalmology, has published Dynamic Ophthalmic Ultrasonography: a Video Atlas for Ophthalmologists and Imaging Technicians (Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins).

For the very first time, this book brings to life what standard ophthalmic ultrasound references have been describing in words. The reader learns how to interpret ultrasound cases by observing ophthalmic tissues in motion utilizing over a hundred dynamic B-scans. A fully searchable companion website is provided to sharpen the reader’s diagnostic skills and serve as a quick reference.

The atlas will be launched at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting at the end of October, and is available online from LWW.com, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
