Visual Function in African-American Eyes with Glaucoma or OHT

Principal Investigator:  Jeffrey Liebman, M.D.

Enrollment Status: Completed

Objective:  To determine that visual function specific tests will identify loss of vision in African-American eyes due to glaucoma when standard perimetry (SAP) fails to do so. This is a 2-year prospective study to investigate the African-American eyes with Glaucoma, OHT or normals, and compare to other populations.

Eligibility:  Subjects 40-80 years old, of African origin, with glaucoma, ocular hypertension or no pathology, without prior ocular surgery, except cataract surgery.
