"My name is Mason and I am 8 years old. I live in Laguna Niguel, CA and I am in 3rd grade. I love martial arts, swimming, and writing stories. 

Lil asked me if I wanted to be the west coast representative for her charity. She told me all about it and I said, 'Sure, helping kids is easy for me.  I am in a class with lots of kids who wear hearing aids. I help kids all the time.'

My mom asked me to think about how important my eyes are. I thought about how I can see the mountains and the ocean all in one day where I live.  I can stay out of danger. I can see my family and friends. I would be so upset if there was a surgery to help me and I couldn't get it.  I knew I had to help.

I started collecting bottles and cans from my friends, neighbors, and teachers at school. After the recycle center, I sent the money to Lil.  She's awesome and I am so stoked I can help lots of kids out!  Get started!"
