Macular Degeneration Support Group

Richard Rosen, MD, Vice Chairman and Director of Eye Research at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary makes presentation to the members of the Macular Degeneration Support Group on October 5, 2011. Dr. Rosen’s talk about new technologies, research and nutritional support was well received by all. Dr. Rosen welcomed several questions from the audience.

We are currently recruiting patients diagnosed with Macular Degeneration to form a support group to discuss ways of coping with this disease. A focus will be placed on adjustment issues and stress management techniques.

Head and Neck Cancer Support Group

A team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, social workers, and speech pathologists attend this support group. Educational topics are discussed and problem solving is immediately done.
