Advanced Retinal Imaging Laboratory
This specialty facility explores new technologies for imaging the human retina in order to enhance our understanding of the anatomy, physiology and visual function.

Jorge N. Buxton, MD Microsurgical Education Center
One of the most unique medical training facilities in the tristate area, the Jorge N. Buxton Microsurgical Education Center provides Ophthalmologists, Otolaryngologists and Plastic Surgeons with opportunities for hands-on experience in a variety of surgical procedures before actually treating patients in the operation room. The center is equipped with 16 workstations, each with state-of- the-art operating microscopes, and microsurgical instruments. 

Ocular Pathology Laboratory
A major referral center for the Metropolitan area and the Northeastern US.

The New York Glaucoma Institute
Created to support research into the basic causes of glaucoma, increase public awareness of glaucoma, and promulgate educational material for ophthalmologists, other physicians, and persons with glaucoma.

The Ocular Imaging Center
Ultrasound Biomicroscopy (UBM) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) clinical databases.

The Retina Center
The Retina Service was organized in 1959 as the first working Retina Service in New York City.
