The focus of the Social Work Department in carrying out the mission of The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary is to provide the psychosocial and continuing care needs of patients and families/significant others related to the diagnosis and treatment plan of patients seen in the Inpatient, Ambulatory Surgery Unit and Ambulatory Care Centers.
