Hypochlorous Acid Nasal Irrigation After Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

To evaluate whether nasal irrigation with Hypochlorous acid, a known antibacterial and biofilm destroying agent is more effective at improving patient symptoms and preventing recurrence of sinusitis symptoms after endoscopic sinus surgery than normal saline irrigation.


  • Between 18 and 65 years old old
  • Patients with chronic rhinosinusitis who have been scheduled to undergo endoscopic sinus surgery
  • English speaking subjects
  • Subjects willing to use nasal irrigation containing a low concentration of hypochlorous acid instead of the typical saline nasal irrigation after surgery.
