The Recovery Room

Following surgery at the Pediatric Surgery Center, a parent and nurse check on a child in the Recovery Room This is the Peri Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), commonly referred to as "Recovery Room." Your child may still be groggy from anesthesia, and nurses monitor your child's progress every couple minutes until well enough to be taken back up to the Pediatric Surgery Center floor.
