About the Physicians
The Chairman of the International Institute for Cosmetic Surgery is Professor Donald Wood-Smith, who is a US board-certified surgeon and has been listed repeatedly in the Best Doctors of New York and in the USA. Dr. Wood-Smith has written textbooks on plastic surgery and teaches new techniques to upcoming plastic surgeons. He is a member of numerous plastic surgery specialty societies in the USA and Europe. Most importantly, he has a large, international circle of patients. Dr. Wood-Smith is a Professor of Clinical Plastic Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian University Medical Center as well as Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Professor John F. Celin is a surgeon based in London and New York. He is in charge of the continuity of care for the International Institute for Cosmetic Surgery’s European patients. Prof. Celin is a board-certified surgeon trained in the USA. A long-time associate of Prof. Wood-Smith, he has established a renowned international cosmetic surgery practice in London. Dr. Celin is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia in the USA. European patients first visit Dr. Celin in London, then fly to New York to receive their cosmetic surgery. When surgery is completed, patients fly back home where Prof. Celin provides them with quality follow-up care in London.
