FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST
Supports all physician offices, assisting hospital administration, finance, senior and clinical leadership with creating reports, maintaining systems, and analyzing pertinent information that support clinically and financially sound decisions. Utilizes hospital databases to compile, interpret and create reports from utilization, financial and cost data. Develops and maintains various financial models used to support decision making. Understand and analyzes clinical, market and operational data, recognizing variances and trends in utilization. Develops and routinely updates standard reports to meet the needs of senior hospital administration and the hospital board. Maintains business intelligence software and writes reports using basic structured query programming language (SQL) knowledge. Maintains a strong knowledge of internal and external data sources. Bachelors degree required. Masters in public health preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare experience preferred. DIRECTOR OF NURSING EDUCATION, QUALITY, RESEARCH AND MAGNET PROGRAMS
The Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Nursing Education, Quality, Research and Magnet Programs and assists the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations/CNO in accomplishing departments of nursing objectives. Assures data collection for the Magnet program. Collaborates with Nursing Councils and assists in their endeavors. Provides leadership, exhibits initiative, innovation and creativity. Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate multiple activities and functions. Current NY State nursing license/registration required. Master's degree required, Doctoral degree preferred. 2-4 years proven experience and expertise in project management and/or educational position, or as a magnet coordinator. DIRECTOR OF PATIENT EXPERIENCE
Investigate, resolve, document and report organization-specific patient and visitor compliments and concerns to leadership and staff. Develop, implement and participate in customer service and patient relations initiatives related to the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Responsible for the HCAHPS scores on the inpatient unit through interdisciplinary efforts. Administer appropriate service recovery programs. Currently CPR certified. Bilingual/Spanish preferred. DIRECTOR OF AMBULATORY CARE SERVICES
Responsible for the overall operation of Ambulatory Care Services. Assists the Senior Vice President for Clinical Operations in accomplishing department of nursing objectives. Serves as a consultant in technical and professional matters for personnel. Makes unit rounds. Interviews and hires nurse managers. Ensures safety requirements are met for nurse management annually. Reviews accident/occurrence reports prepared by nurse managers. Reviews and ensure appropriate budgets for nursing service. Participates in department meetings and communicates feedback from committees to Sr. Vice President. Performs performance appraisal on nurse managers yearly. Ensures compliance with JCAHO and N.Y. Department of Health Regulations. Previous proven experience and expertise in first line management position, commensurate with the clinical demands of the division position. Current N.Y. registration and nursing license. Certification in nursing administration (ANA). Master’s degree required. Doctorate degree desired. Computer skills and software competent (MS Office). NURSING CARE COORDINATOR

OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN –BAY RIDGE
Responsibilities include compiling patient history, measuring visual acuity, refractometry, performing visual fields and recording patient history, according to standards established by the Infirmary. Must have background in ophthalmology (JCAHPO and technical certification preferred but not required). Knowledge of medical instrumentation and its proper care and usage needed. MECHANIC
Troubleshoot and repair of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing and electrical systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, door hardware, light carpentry, grounds equipment and HVAC. Clean, lubricate and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic devices. Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems. Respond immediately to emergency situations. Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 5 years related trade experience in a building-related trade preferred / 3 years hospital maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance required. PER-DIEM POSITION
REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL NURSE
Responsibilities include the provision of direct comprehensive care to a group of patients. Provide care that is consistent with the philosophy and goals of the Nursing Department and patient care unit. BSN required, current NY State nursing license/ registration required. Critical Care experience preferred, Medical/ Surgical experience required. Applicants must be experienced in inserting IVs and administering IVP medications. ACLS/BCLS required, PALS preferred. SECURITY OFFICER
Responsible for protecting the Infirmary properties / assets and all staff, patients and visitors that enter the Infirmary against fire, theft, vandalism, or any unlawful act. To provide service and assist other security officers as needed. To see that all rules and regulations are enforced at all times. Directs and assists employees, patients, and visitors in reaching their destinations. Has completed NYS 8 hour basic security course. Possess a NYS/NJ Drivers License Preferred.
