NYEE/NYMC Staff Prominent at Annual Eye Research Meeting In May

New York, NY (April 2010) -- With more than 75 papers and posters, The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary/New York Medical College Department of Ophthalmology is again one of the largest contributors at the annual meeting of the Association of Research and Vision in Ophthalmology (ARVO), held May 2-6, 2010, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

ARVO is the world’s largest and most respected eye and vision research organizations. Each spring, the annual meeting draws approximately 10,000 scientists and physicians who present their latest research results to peers.

“I congratulate our attending staff, faculty, fellows and residents who have for almost two decades made this department one of the highest profile participants at ARVO,“ says Joseph B. Walsh, MD, Professor and Chair, NYEE/NYMC Department of Ophthalmology.
