New York and Philadelphia "Eye" Hospitals are Friendly Rivals in World Series

NY and Philadelphia Eye Hospitals are Friendly Rivals in World Series

NEW YORK, NY (October 2009) -- On behalf of the leadership team of The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, president & CEO D. McWilliams Kessler has a friendly wager with Wills Eye Hospital (Philadelphia) leadership and CEO Joseph Bilson.

If the Yankees win the series, Wills will treat NYEE to traditional South Philly cheesesteaks and soft pretzels.   If the Phils win, NYEE will treat Wills to a “nosh” at the quintessential New York Second Avenue Deli.

All join in urging that umpires, players and fans alike have regular examinations by an eye care professional and use protective eye wear for safety sake.
