Named One of "America's Best Hospitals"
NYEEI Among Best in Eyes and Ear, Nose, and Throat Care
New York (July 2003) -- The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary was ranked among the nation's top hospitals in Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, according the U.S. News and World Report's annual "America's Best Hospitals" survey.
The survey is conducted in conjunction with the National Opinion Research Center, a noted social science research group at the University of Chicago, and assesses hospital care in 17 key medical specialties. The rankings included 203 medical centers out of several thousand that are surveyed.
