The Ear Institute at NYEE is at the forefront of widening access to diagnostic and therapeutic services for children, teens and adults suffering from hearing loss and from congenital defects and conditions related to the ear.
The Institute provides assessment, early intervention, and “mainstreaming” services to help children and adults improve their quality of life. The Institute is a pioneer in the implantation of cochlear devises, which allow patients, some as young as six months of age, to hear through electrical signals delivered to the auditory nerve.
