the ENT Academic Faculty

The Academic Faculty provides medical care as part of the Department of
Otolaryngology. The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, a member of Continuum Health
Partners, was established in 1820. The Department of Otolaryngology at the New
York Eye and Ear Infirmary is the first specialty of its kind in the western
hemisphere and has evolved into an international referral center for medical and
surgical treatment, performing more than 6,000 surgeries and treating more than
60,000 patients.
