

Mark Kupersmith, MD heads the Neuro-Ophthalmology Research Division, which focuses on understanding visual problems and pathology that are related to the nervous system. Researchers are now investigating how newly-diagnosed patients with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension may be treated with diet and/or diuretics. There is uncertainty in the medical community as to which of these treatments is effective for treating patients with IIH who have mild visual loss.
