

Director of Research, Richard B. Rosen, MD and Clinical Research Manager, Katy W. Tai, MA, CCRC leads the Clinical Trials and Outcomes Research Section in its studies of the clinical benefits of innovative medical and surgical techniques, therapeutics and prevention programs as well as the transfer of new discoveries, diagnostic methods and treatment techniques to patients. Investigators are drawn from all eye specialties. Current research projects include looking at therapeutic agents to treat age related macular degeneration and to prevent the progression of blood vessel breakdown and vision loss in our elderly population and exploring new measures for immunomodulatory therapies for uveitis.
