The Art Gallery at The Shelley and Steven Einhorn Clinical Research Center has been made possible through the collective commitment of a remarkable group of artists who, by the very nature of their work, are keenly aware of the importance of furthering research into the causes of glaucoma and other disorders that can cause blindness in children and adults.
The talented artists represented in our gallery span a wide variety of media, including marble, oil on canvas and wood, watercolor, digital illustration, lithography, acrylic, ink on paper, collage, aluminum, photography, bronze, and mixed media. Although they represent a wide spectrum of style and approach, they are united in their spirited celebration of life.
The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary extends appreciation to all of these artists who have allowed us to borrow their wonderful work and offer it for sale. We also thank curator Cornelia Jensen, one of the artists represented, for organizing this exhibition.
