As a leader in the fields of ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and plastic and reconstructive surgery, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (NYEE) is committed to furthering the education of our medical students and doctors by providing training at all levels of their professional development.

In order to provide a range of enriching educational opportunities, NYEE is pleased to offer the following programs and centers:

Continuing Medical Education: We provide physicians, trainees and allied health professionals with a variety of continuing education programs.

Jorge N. Buxton, MD, Microsurgical Education Center: This is a uniquely advanced training facility providing both residents in training and physicians in practice the opportunity to develop and refine their surgical skills before entering the operating room.

Ophthalmology Fellowship Program: NYEE's highly competitive ophthalmology fellowship training program provides trainees with a diverse range of clinical, surgical, and research opportunities.

Ophthalmology Residency Program: The Department of Ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai offers a three-year ACGME accredited ophthalmology residency program with outstanding clinical and surgical training.

Otolaryngology Residency Program: Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/New York Eye and Ear Infirmary offers a three-year ACGME accredited otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency program with comprehensive instruction in all the areas of subspecialty otolaryngology.
