Pediatric Otolaryngology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai is supervised by Joseph Bernstein, MD. This service provides care for patients with disorders ranging from otitis media and adenotonsillar disease to compromised airway, congenital neck masses, otology, and sinus disease. Residents receive hands-on training in bronchoesophagology, airway endoscopy and reconstruction, surgery for chronic ear disease, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery. In addition, there are weekly didactic sessions covering all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology. Complex pediatric airway and head and neck surgery are performed at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Westchester Medical Center.
