The Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship Program at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (NYEE) bridges the fields of ophthalmology and neurology through the diagnosis and management of patients with neurological disorders that affect vision and eye movements. This funded program includes one year of rigorous training under the direct supervision of three full-time faculty members and encompasses both clinical and research components. It is best suited for individuals seeking to enter an academic or private practice focused on the clinical management of patients with neurological disease affecting vision. This fellowship program is AUPO FCC compliant and the fellowship position is available only to candidates who have completed ophthalmology or neurology residency training in the US or Canada.
The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai’s seeks to attract a diverse group of individuals who are committed to developing a deep understanding of ophthalmic disease with a specialization in neuro-ophthalmology, patient care, and vision research.
