Angie E. Wen MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and External Diseases of the eye and Refractive Surgery including LASIK. She also provides comprehensive eye care. Dr. Wen is a graduate of the combined BA/MD program at Northwestern University, and completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She went on to pursue fellowship training at the Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University in New York City, where she acquired training in the latest advanced corneal transplantation and cataract surgery techniques.
Dr. Wen is a member of the full-time Ophthalmology Faculty Practice at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is also an Attending Ophthalmologist involved in supervising and teaching residents at the Infirmary. She has research interests in ocular surface disease and surgical techniques/outcomes, and has authored multiple articles and book chapters.
