The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, a member of the Mount Sinai Health System, is the site of some of the most exciting and promising medical research into diseases of the eye, ear, nose, and throat. The dedicated work of a growing team of creative scientists and medical specialists allows patients access to the latest techniques years before they’re put into widespread use. Attending physicians, medical residents, and scientists author an extraordinary volume of scientific papers and present research projects at all major academy meetings based on work done at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. In addition to the many resources at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, research and teaching affiliations with New York Medical College, Columbia University, New York University, and other regional institutions provide Infirmary staff with access to research collaborations, libraries, and laboratories that are among the best in the world.
