The VISUAL Clinical Trials for Uveitis

Enrollment Status

Patients are being enrolled in two worldwide uveitis clinical trials, called the VISUAL Clinical Trials, that are designed to investigate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational biological medication for people with active or inactive non-infectious intermediate, posterior, or pan-uveitis.

VISUAL I tests the investigational medication in people who are taking corticosteroids for active non-infectious intermediate, posterior, or pan-uveitis.

VISUAL II tests the investigational medication in people with inactive non-infectious, intermediate, posterior, or pan-uveitis who can’t stop taking corticosteroids without experiencing a disease flare.

Also, participants from the VISUAL I or VISUAL II Clinical Trials may have the opportunity to participate in VISUAL III, a long-term, open-label clinical trial.
