Surgically Induced Hyperopia With And Without Astigmatism LASIK FDA Monitored Clinical Trials


Principal Investigator:  Barrie Soloway, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Enrollment Status:  Ongoing

Overview:  Phase III FDA monitored clinical trials of LASIK for surgically induced farsightedness with or without astigmatism are underway at the Vision Correction Center of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Patients with hyperopia (farsightedness) after previous vision correction, who desire an improvement in their vision without glasses can participate in this study. 

Eligibility:  Have +1.00 to +6.00 diopters of surgically produced hyperopia and up to +4.00 diopters of astigmatism, be at least 18 years of age or older, have good general health.
