Outpatient Centers

The outpatient centers are the place to start when you need to see a doctor for an eye or ear-nose-throat problem. Please call (212) 979-4192 to make an appointment for a routine visit. You may also request an appointment using our secure, online form and someone will contact you to make an appointment. If you have a problem that requires immediate medical attention please come to our 24 hour/7 days a week urgent care center; we will evaluate you and provide the necessary medical care.

After your visit with us, if the doctor tells you to return for a follow up visit, please make the appointment for your next visit at the discharge desk before you leave.

HOURS FOR PATIENTS WITH APPOINTMENTS

Eye Outpatient Center

Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M.  - 3:00 P.M.

ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat) Outpatient Center

* Monday through Friday 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Pediatric ENT Outpatient Center (For Children Only)

*Monday through Friday
8:30 - 10:45 A.M. and 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.

*No Pediatric ENT clinic in the morning on the first Thursday of every month.


HOURS FOR WALK-IN PATIENTS

Eye Outpatient Center

Monday through Friday 9:00A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
*Walk-in patients will be seen throughout the day.

Priority is given to patients with appointments first  

ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat) Outpatient Center

* Monday through Friday 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.

* Walk-in patients will not be seen during the AM clinic session.

Outpatient Center Fees

$178.00 for each outpatient center visit for self-pay patients.

*Additional fees may be necessary if further tests and treatments are required.

Each time you visit, you must first register for the visit and pay any required co-pay. You will receive a receipt for all registrations.

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, certified checks, and cash are accepted to pay for outpatient center fees. [Read more about Insurance]

Urgent Care Services / New York Eye Trauma Center

URGENT CARE: (212) 979-4000...For problems requiring immediate attention, we provide urgent care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We are not authorized to bill for emergency services, therefore ALL visits will be billed as a clinic visit or Urgent Care visit.

What to Bring

Please come in 30 minutes before your appointment time to register for your visit.

Please bring your Medicare, Medicaid and/or insurance cards and identification with you to each visit. All new patients must show identification, preferably picture ID, with proof of address, when you come for your first visit. 

If you belong to a managed care plan, a referral from your primary care doctor is necessary. It is your responsibility to obtain the referral, from your doctor, prior to your visit with us and to bring it with you when you come for your appointment. Please have the referral made out to New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
