Amy Lebowitz, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the Assistant Director of The Voice and Swallowing Institute at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Amy most recently served as the Associate Director of the Schein Voice Center at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Amy received her B.S. from Northwestern University and her M.S. from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also holds a certificate in musical theatre from Northwestern University. She is an accomplished singer and maintains a part-time performing career. Her clinical interests lie in the areas of voice disorders, and Amy has a special interest in voice disorders in singers. She also is interested in the rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients, and swallowing disorders. Certifications include Compton Accent Reduction Program and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment.
