Upon completion of her graduate studies in Audiology, Ms. Gilston received a Clinical Fellowship with a renowned Neurotologist (Dr. Kenneth Brookler) in New York City. When the fellowship was concluded, Ms.Gilston accepted a position at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. She brought with her extensive knowledge and background in vestibular assessment and was instrumental in the creation of the Infirmary's Vestibular Laboratory. In 1990, Ms. Gilston assumed the position of Coordinator of the Cochlear Implant Program. In addition, Ms Gilston maintains a private practice in New York City for the diagnosis of auditory disorders.
