Upon completion of her graduate studies in Audiology, Ms. Shapiro was offered a Clinical Fellowship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in New York City. When the fellowship was concluded, Ms. Shapiro was offered a permanent full time position as a Clinical/Dispensing Audiologist for the Giancarlo Center for Communicative Sciences. Her interest in evoked potentials began in 1994 and her investigations into various stimulus parameters helped establish protocols for the Auditory Brainstem Threshold Search program at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
