Golf World’s South Korean Newcomer to Learn About The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Official Charity of 2003 Westchester LPGA Classic
New York (Summer 2003) -- Gloria Park, returning champion of last year’s Sybase Big Apple Classic LPGA golf tournament, will gear up for this year’s event with a tour of The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary to learn about the range of eye, ear, nose and throat specialty services The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary provides to patients in New York and around the world.
As the Official Charity of the event, to be held at Wykagyl Country Club, July 17 – 20, 2003, The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary will receive a percentage of the proceeds from pro-am and spectator tickets, a raffle and a celebrity auction at
Wykagyl, in New Rochelle, NY.
The young Ms. Park, also the winner of the 2001 LPGA Williams Championship, thrilled spectators and national TV audiences with her six foot birdie sudden-death win in the Sybase Classic last year.
The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary is the oldest specialty hospital in the Western Hemisphere.
