Foveal Blood Flow Measurement
The Laser Doppler Flowmeter measures the velocity (kHz), volume (mU) and flow
(HzU) of choroidal blood at the fovea in just a few seconds. The test is best performed on dilated pupils, comparing findings of one eye with the other eye. Indications for use include patients with vascular disease involving the fovea, or systemic vascular or hematologic disease that may affect the
choroid.
