With approximately 142,000 outpatient visits and over 20,000 surgical procedures per year, The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary is the largest provider of eye care in America, and it operates one of the nation's most extensive ear, nose and throat clinics in the nation. The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary is also a market leader in plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures in the New York metropolitan area. Maintaining costs while upholding the highest standards of excellence is a major goal of The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary today. Less invasive surgical procedures and cutting-edge technologies, many of them developed and refined at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, have improved treatment success rates and shortened hospital stays, benefiting everyone.
